SWCEO Interviews Maleka MyPrettyFeet8
Blog Post Written By: MelRose Michaels
From toes to taboo, Maleka, a dedicated foot model since 2018, has transformed her passion for foot modeling into a compelling fetish art form—without revealing it all.
In a recent Twitter Space, MelRose Michaels sat down with Maleka MyPrettyFeet8 who expanded her creative horizons in 2022 by venturing into fetish modeling. She excels in non-nude content, offering a wide variety of niches that cater to specific interests, all while staying true to her artistic vision.
MelRose Michaels: Maleka, thank you so much for joining us today! I’m super excited to have you here.
Maleka: Thank you so much for having me.
MelRose Michaels: Thank you for taking the time to chat with us. We haven’t interviewed anyone in your niche before, so I’m really excited to dive in. Can you share with us how you first got into foot modeling and what inspired you to pursue it?
Maleka: Since I was a little kid, I always dreamt of being a foot model in magazines. It was a starry-eyed dream, but I actually discovered this type of modeling when my husband came home and told me one of his co-workers sold his socks on eBay. I thought, “Wait, what?” So I looked into it and found a blog about Instagram foot modeling. I just jumped in without knowing anything and learned along the way. It was like a dream come true!
MelRose Michaels: That’s amazing! Sometimes inspiration comes from the most unexpected places. What do you think are some common misconceptions about foot fetish modeling? I often hear people joke about quitting their job to sell feet pics online. Is that a misconception?
Maleka: Oh, 100%. You can’t just throw some feet pictures up and expect to make money. I started without knowing anything, and it took me months to make anything. The biggest thing is you have to build an audience and gain their trust. Fans get scammed a lot, so it’s crucial to build trust in the community and have recommendations from other models and fans. It’s definitely a misconception that you can make money quickly. Another misconception is that the foot fetish community is just a bunch of weirdos. They’re just normal people who happen to like feet. Sure, there are weirdos everywhere, but there aren’t more of them just because they like feet instead of other body parts.
MelRose Michaels: Exactly! We don’t kink shame here. You also do non-nude content, which is unique. Was that a conscious decision for your career?
Maleka: It absolutely was. When I first started, I didn’t even show my face—just my feet. I was afraid to show my face, but over time, I became more comfortable. However, I’ve always stayed non-nude because that’s where I’m comfortable. Foot fans have told me that nudity can be a distraction from the feet. It’s rare to find a model who stays completely covered, but that’s part of what makes my content unique.
MelRose Michaels: That makes perfect sense. What advice would you give models who are curious about launching foot fetish content or non-nude content?
Maleka: I’d say be consistent. You have to stay present online, keep up with trends, and practice, practice, practice. Look at platforms like Clips4Sale to see what’s trending, and learn by watching other creators or asking fans for advice.
MelRose Michaels: Consistency is key! Are there any dos or don’ts you’ve learned along the way that you wish you knew sooner?
Maleka: Make sure you don’t use anything from your personal life—create new email addresses, and keep your personal life separate. Also, don’t jump into things without understanding them. I started without knowing how to pose my feet, and I was nervous to show the bottoms of my feet because I thought they were too wrinkly. But it turns out that’s actually a good thing! Do your research and educate yourself before getting started.
MelRose Michaels: Research is so important. I’m big on copywriting because I believe it’s what sells content. Do you do anything differently with captioning your posts to increase conversions?
Maleka: At first, I struggled with this, but I’ve gotten better. I’ve learned to be more specific with my captions, use keywords, and be flirty. It’s important to use keywords because platforms like OnlyFans have advertising systems that recommend profiles based on the content you create. Be specific about what you’re posting, and use keywords to help your content get noticed.
MelRose Michaels: That makes perfect sense. You mentioned OnlyFans—are there other platforms that have helped with fetish content, or is there one you’d recommend?
Maleka: OnlyFans is the most popular, but I love LoyalFans because they don’t give us a hard time about anything. Twitter is also great for posting content, but Instagram is tough—you have to be super careful there.
MelRose Michaels: I would’ve thought posting feet on Instagram would be okay. Is that not the case?
Maleka: Oh no, Instagram hates feet! If your soles are showing, it’s considered nudity. You have to be extremely careful. On YouTube, you can’t have your soles in the middle of the screen, or they’ll age-restrict or delete your video.
MelRose Michaels: Wow, I wouldn’t have known that! How do you navigate the constant changes with terms of service on platforms?
Maleka: Mostly trial and error. My original YouTube channel was deleted because I had an OnlyFans link in a video. I’ve learned the hard way, but I think I’ve figured it out now. We’ll see.
MelRose Michaels: We talk about these things inside CEO Society, our closed community for creators. Insights like yours are so useful because they help others avoid the same mistakes.
Maleka: Yes, absolutely. If you want to do foot-focused content on YouTube, you can, but don’t talk about feet directly. I do movie reviews and happen to be barefoot or dangle my feet off to the side as a workaround.
MelRose Michaels: That’s clever! Do you have any top tips for creating content consistently?
Maleka: I post a lot on my fan pages. When I’m filming a custom, I make sure to film teasers, photos, and pre-made videos that I can sell on my clip stores or post on my fan pages. I try to create a lot of content while I’m already in the moment.
MelRose Michaels: That’s effective. Is there something you do to keep your content exciting and fresh?
Maleka: Working alone can get boring, so I like to work with other people. Even if you can’t meet in person, you can collaborate online. There are so many things you can do within the foot fetish niche to keep things fresh and exciting.
MelRose Michaels: You’ve built a strong brand around Malika MyPretty Feet8. Was there a strategy you followed while building your brand?
Maleka: I didn’t have a strong idea of branding when I started—I just figured it out along the way. My brand is more of a girl-next-door, wholesome, educator-based brand. I try to keep my name consistent across all platforms so that people can find me easily.
MelRose Michaels: That’s a great tip. How do you engage with fans and keep them responsive on your platforms?
Maleka: It’s super important to comment back on as many things as possible. Fans want your attention—that’s why they’re there. Being engaging and treating them like people helps keep them involved and excited.
MelRose Michaels: That’s so true. Is there anywhere you see the foot fetish industry heading in the next few years, and are you preparing for any changes?
Maleka: I think the trend of selling feet pics will go down as people realize how difficult it is. Those who have been consistent in the community will thrive. I want to be a staple in the community and continue to grow my brand.
MelRose Michaels: You brought up something earlier that I’d love to circle back to—you mentioned that fans get scammed, too. I think that’s an important point that many creators overlook.
Maleka: Yes, fans often get treated poorly when they’re trying to spend money on you. They’re coming to you to have their fantasies fulfilled, and that’s something beautiful. If you treat them poorly, they won’t come back. Repeat buyers are the most important thing in this business.
MelRose Michaels: Thank you, Maleka! This was a pleasure, and I know our community will get tremendous value from this conversation. Where can people find you?
