MelRose Michaels: Bella, thank you so much for joining us today. I'm really excited to talk about holiday content. It's such a relevant topic with Q4 and the holidays quickly approaching. Let's start with a bit of background. You have over two decades of experience in the adult industry, from indie and mainstream porn to dancing, managing clubs, and being a professional dominatrix. How did you end up where you are today, running TreasureCams.com?

Bella Vendetta: Thank you so much for having me! Honestly, I ask myself every day how I ended up here on a mountainside farm, running Treasure Cams. I started as a professional dominatrix, training in a formal household. Back then, we advertised through print magazines, and I began doing photo shoots for those ads. I fell in love with the shoots, and over time, I created my own website, which launched in 2003. From there, my career took me to mainstream porn, feature dancing, and beyond. I’ve explored many avenues in the industry, and now I run Treasure Cams, helping models succeed in live streaming and fan platforms.

MelRose Michaels: With over two decades in the industry, you've seen so much change. How do you stay on top of the evolving landscape?

Bella Vendetta: This industry moves fast, and it’s tech-driven, whether we realize it or not. We're part of the tech and banking industries in ways many don’t think about. You have to constantly stay informed and adaptable. Doing market research, following trends, and staying organized is crucial. I hope it comes full circle one day where we can go back to physical media—I’d love to sell limited edition magazines from my car!

MelRose Michaels:: Let’s dive into holiday content. How early do you start planning for holiday-themed shoots?

Bella Vendetta: For this year’s holiday content, I shot everything last year! I have it queued and ready to go. I usually start planning around August, especially for major holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I always tell the models in Treasure Cams to start thinking about these holidays early—whether it’s creating a themed set, running sales, or planning their live streams. The key is to avoid the last-minute rush and create without stress.

MelRose Michaels: That's impressive! I love how prepared you are. Do you have any advice on balancing holiday-themed content with evergreen content?

Bella Vendetta: Absolutely. I love evergreen content because it sells year-round, but I also know that the holidays are a huge opportunity. People spend more during stressful times like the holidays, and if you’re excited about your holiday content, your fans will be too. I think it’s important to find a balance. Have your evergreen content but don’t sleep on the holiday season. People are generous during this time, and they want to see fun, festive, themed content.

MelRose Michaels: You mentioned reusing content—how do you approach that without it feeling repetitive?

Bella Vendetta: I always reuse content! I have so much holiday content now that I can queue up tweets like, “Remember this one from last year?” Fans love reminiscing, and many of them haven’t seen it before. As creators, we think people remember everything, but trust me, they don’t. I also shoot multiple sets in one day—same location, different outfits—so I always have something fresh in the vault for the following year. Consistency is key, and reusing content keeps you from getting overwhelmed by constant new creation.

MelRose Michaels: How do you stand out with holiday content, especially when so many creators are doing it?

Bella Vendetta: Being prepared and professional is how you stand out. Fans can tell when you’ve put thought into your content versus throwing something together. But I also encourage creators to be authentic—don’t create Halloween content if it doesn’t excite you. Fans will resonate more with content that reflects what you love and what’s true to your style. If you’re a big fan of Halloween, dive into it! If not, focus on other holidays or themes that matter to you.

MelRose Michaels: How do you promote your holiday content?

Bella Vendetta: I start promoting about a month in advance. I plan my social media posts well ahead of time and make sure I’m constantly reminding my fans about past holiday content and teasing new releases. You can never over-promote during the holidays—it’s a limited time to get people’s attention, so I make sure my content is visible every day.

MelRose Michaels: Work-life balance can be tricky for creators, especially during busy seasons like the holidays. How do you manage it?

Bella Vendetta: For me, it’s about setting strong boundaries. I have strict office hours—9 to 5, weekdays only—and I don’t work weekends unless it’s for something special like a live stream event. I also prioritize my health and my family. I learned to audit my time, figure out what’s truly important, and make sure I’m scheduling breaks. The to-do list will never end, so you have to pick your battles and make time for yourself.

MelRose Michaels: That’s such valuable advice. Last question—what’s one piece of advice you’d give to creators who are planning their holiday content this year?

Bella Vendetta: Keep it simple if you need to. Holiday content doesn’t have to be elaborate. It can be as simple as painting your nails red for Christmas. You don’t need a huge set or fancy costumes—just focus on what’s fun for you and your fans. And don’t forget to hit up the after-holiday sales to stock up on props and outfits for next year!
