Blog Post Written By: MelRose Michaels
What happens when a group of entrepreneurial adult creators come together to reflect on their year? Magic ✨
In this special gratitude edition of our Twitter Space, members of the CEO Society shared the wins, lessons, and game-changing insights that shaped their 2024. From tripling income with TikTok lives to finding support in a no-gatekeeping community, these creators prove the power of collaboration and gratitude.
MelRose Michaels: Hello and welcome to today’s special Twitter Space. It’s the Tuesday before Thanksgiving in the U.S., so I appreciate you taking the time to join during what’s usually a busy week. For those new here, I’m Melrose Michaels, an independent adult content creator with over a decade of experience. I founded Sex Work CEO to share strategies that have worked for me and to make it easier for others to succeed in this business.
Today’s focus is gratitude—what we’re thankful for, the biggest impacts on our businesses, and key takeaways from the CEO Society. Gratitude has profoundly impacted my life, and I’m excited to hear reflections from our community members.
My Reflections
For me, three things stand out in 2024:
Launching the CEO Society. I was hesitant, thinking it wouldn’t provide enough value, but Brynn pushed me to take the leap. The community has been amazing, providing value every day.
Launching GPTease. It’s been a game-changer for creators, helping streamline workflows and sparking creativity.
The patience of my fans as I shifted focus to Sex Work CEO, creating less personal content this year. Their support has been incredible.
The single biggest impact on my business? TikToks and Reels. Though I didn’t post as often as I’d like, the content I did share noticeably boosted my subscription count.
Inside the CEO Society, I’ve learned two things:
Letting go of perfection and starting anyway—it’s a recurring theme among creators.
Seeing how creatively others use GPTease to expand their brands and content has been inspiring and educational for me.
Reflections from Trinity Infinity
I’m grateful for creating more content this year than ever before—more clips, collaborations, and photos. It’s boosted my confidence as I transitioned from phone and chat work to putting myself out there.
The biggest impact on my business has been connecting with other creators. Learning from their experiences, whether they’re new or seasoned, has been invaluable.
From the CEO Society, I learned how to get banner ads on platforms like IWantClips. The advice was practical and straightforward, something I’d been curious about for years.
Reflections from Ruby Lynne
This year has been tough, but I’m grateful for the support of my partner and my friend Natalia Nova. They’ve helped me through challenging times.
The biggest impact on my business has been embracing safe-for-work social media. A TikTok challenge to go live for 30 days tripled my income!
From the CEO Society, I’ve appreciated the camaraderie and lack of gatekeeping. Sharing knowledge and helping each other has been transformative.
Reflections from Kepi Carter
I’m thankful for the community I’ve found this year. Meeting regularly with peers for motivation and support has been great for my mental health.
GPTease has had the biggest impact on my business. Since using it, my earnings have skyrocketed.
What I’ve learned from CEO Society is that we’re coworkers, not competition. The collaborative, supportive atmosphere has been a game-changer.
Reflections from Joelle Rose
I’m grateful for attending Exxxotica and meeting Melrose and other CEO Society members—it was a highlight of my year.
The biggest impact on my business has been learning to set boundaries, which improved both my business and mental health.
In the CEO Society, staying updated on new tools and platforms like BlueSky has been invaluable.
Reflections from Mistress Kalah
I’m thankful for my health and the ability to focus on my work. The community has helped me refine my brand, stay true to my strengths, and find success in my niche.
GPTease has been instrumental in creating scripts and calendars, keeping my work fresh and personalized.
The CEO Society’s discussions on finding the right niches were particularly impactful for me.
Reflections from Athena Skky
I’m most grateful for losing my job—it pushed me to start in sex work, something I’ve always wanted to do.
The biggest impact has been shifting my mindset. Quotes like “feel your feelings but still do the work” have helped me push through challenging days.
The CEO Society’s content flowchart showed me how to maximize shoots. A single session now yields multiple pieces of content, which has significantly improved my workflow.
